Nixon McQuade have partnered with a leading business based in Belfast to recruit a Management Accountant on a 12-month fixed term contract to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified or part-qualified accountant to gain valuable experience, with the potential for the role to become permanent. The Role: Prepare and review monthly financial statements, including P&L, balance sheets, and cash flow reports. Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes. Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal controls. Assist with VAT returns and other tax-related tasks. Liaise with external auditors and support audit preparations. Provide financial insights to management and support decision-making. The Person: Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent). Previous experience in a similar accounting role. Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
