Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

As a Management Accountant, you'll play a pivotal role in our team by:

• Being the subject matter expert for Markerstudy Insurance entity.


• Preparing monthly accruals, prepayments, and journals.


• Conducting balance sheet and cashbook reconciliations.


• Preparing monthly invoices and reconciling aged debtors.


• Assisting with the collation of monthly P&L and balance sheet reporting.


• Actively managing risk by ensuring effective controls are in place.


• Driving continuous process improvement.


• Supporting ad hoc projects as needed.

Must-Have Skills and Attributes

To excel in this role, you’ll need:

• Experience in a smailar role 


• A strong work ethic and the ability to meet deadlines under pressure.


• Excellent organisational skills, including time management and task prioritisation.


• A self-motivated attitude with high standards of work.


• Proficiency in Excel with strong analytical skills.


• The ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.

Desirable Skills

It’s a bonus if you have:

• An understanding of the insurance industry.


• Experience using Sage Intaact.
