Management Accountant

InstaStaff are currently supporting a specialist engineering company based in Tamworth, with the recruitment of their new Management Accountant. This is a temp to perm role, and the opportunities within the business are endless for the right candidate.

You will be based full-time out of their newly refurbished, modern Head Office in Tamworth, close to all local amenities, transport routes and with free car parking

The duties of the Management Accountant will be:

• Preparing income statements, balance sheets and other financial documents
• Measuring the company’s financial performance based on financial records
• Identifying problem areas and presenting recommendations to company management
• Performing audits of departments within the organisation
• Overseeing other aspects of financial operations such as bookkeeping and payroll
• Evaluating and monitoring financial information systems and recommending improvements where needed
• Communicating and interpreting financial data to non-financial managers

The ideal Management Accountant will have:

• Experience within a similar role
• Accounts qualification AAT, ACCA, ACA, CIMA, and CIPFA

The salary for the Management Accountant is circa £35,000

Hours of work for the Management Accountant will be Monday – Thursday 8.30am – 5pm and Friday 8.30am -4pm.
