About the Role:

We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our clients team. This role is ideal for a finance professional who has experience in a smaller business, has been deeply involved in financial details, and is looking to grow into a Financial Controller role.

Key Responsibilities:

  Preparing and delivering monthly management accounts, financial reports, and analysis.

  Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support business decision-making.

  Assisting with cash flow management and financial strategy.

  Working independently to produce financial reports and drive insights.

  Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.

  
  


• 
  

  Interacting with operational staff and interrogating financial data from depots to ensure accuracy and reliability.

  Understanding the business's operations and contributing to its financial success.

  Liaising with senior management and external auditors.

  
  

Requirements:

  Proven experience in a management accountant role, particularly in a smaller business setting.

  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a hands-on approach.

  Ability to work independently and take ownership of financial reporting.

  Experience interacting with operational teams and ensuring accurate financial data collection.

  Proficiency in financial software and Excel.
