Management Accountant

Axi Recruitment is currently recruiting for a Management Accountant to join one of our clients, who are a leading global manufacturing business. This is a full-time, permanent role based in Hull, offering the opportunity to work within a dynamic and growing team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generating weekly and monthly financial reports


• Gathering weekly outlook data to forecast P&L


• Assisting the Accountant with weekly tasks and financial reporting.


• Overseeing the fixed asset register and managing Capex requests.


• Processing and reviewing employee expense claims for accuracy.


• Compiling month-end reporting packs for review by senior management.


• Updating management accounts with actuals and forecasts.


• Preparing and submitting quarterly VAT returns.


• Managing intercompany reconciliations and ensuring balance sheet accuracy

Requirements:

• Hold an ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent qualification


• Previous experience in a similar role is essential


• Excellent communicator with the ability to effectively communicate with all stakeholders


• Strong time management and high organisational skills, prioritise tasks accordingly 


• IT proficient with MS office including Excel and SAP


• Excellent reporting abilities, with a keen aptitude for analysing and managing financial data
