This firm of Chartered Accountants based in York has a fresh outlook, they are driven by providing a first class service to their clients.

The role of Client Services Manager is varied and will include reviewing and preparing annual accounts, and supervising and mentoring the team members in order to meet the clients needs. The role will also include involvement with practice and workflow management for the wider team.

The split of work will be around 80% working on key client portfolios and 20% looking at managing workflow of whole team, managing billing and work in progress and developing the team.

We are looking for;

ACCA or ACA fully qualified
Have a solid accounting experience obtained within an accountancy practice
Knowledge of accounts preparation for incorporated and unincorporated clients
Experience working with IRIS, Xero and Sage would be preferential, but not essential
Have strong management, communication and organisational skills
Be able to confidently work alone but also be a team player
Have excellent time management

Main duties in the role;

Managing a portfolio of clients comprising incorporated businesses, although experience of unincorporated businesses and individuals would be advantageous
Responsibility for all compliance matters for clients annual accounts and corporation tax returns
Personal tax planning for individuals
Responsibility for maintaining WIP and managing team KPIs
Reviewing work performed by other team members and assisting with staff training
Being the main relationship contact for clients
