We help clients realise the value from Finance transformation by addressing challenges around their data. We deliver solutions to improve data quality, accuracy and consistency, efficiently enrich the data to turn it into financial information that can be used for improved reporting, automation and AI driven improvements.ResponsibilitiesAs a Manager within the Operational Finance team, you will have responsibility for the following:Transforming Finance – Design and implement changes to core finance process, technologies, teams and data to achieve real business outcomes.Business-Process & Technology Acumen - Address client business challenges, by defining transformation at the intersection of process, people, data and technology. Driving Change and Adoption – Communicate messages with clarity and confidence to drive business change and instill confidence in our clients’ finance teams.Analytical Thinking and Problem Solving - Collect and analyse information to develop informed recommendations that shape or support our clients’ strategy.Delivery Excellence – Work with multiple cross functional teams to collaborate and deliver a high quality work product, from business cases to new process designs.Managing diverse teams within an inclusive team culture where people are recognised for their contribution.Stakeholder Management – collaborate with relevant stakeholders to deliver favorable commercial outcomes.Connect to your skills and professional experienceKnowledge of Finance and Financial Data:You have worked with and understand Financial Data Model Design, Data Governance and Data Migration and that has allowed you to make key decisions in that space and drive major process redesign efforts.Fluent in the interplay of end-to-end finance processes and policy – Record to Report, Projects, Fixed Assets, Intercompany, Order to Cash, Procure to Pay, Cash Management, Planning & Budgeting, Management and Statutory Reporting, process optimisation levers and how these are used to run and operate businesses.Shaped the intersection between data, systems, and process across Finance to deliver transformation outcomes.Understand the industry and technology trends and the impact they have on the Finance organization and able to credibly form opinions on how these would impact and shape client decisions.Project Delivery:You have extensive experience in managing projects/programme delivery, with ability to align traditional management techniques with agile ways of working. Including experience in shaping and leading large multi-functional teams in a client facing environment, with evidence of planning and managing projects on time and to budget.You are able to operate in complex corporate environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to facilitate dialog between the technical teams and senior finance and business stakeholders to drive solutions and implement lasting changes in the processes as well as behaviors.You have experience of working with CFOs, C-Level and Finance Leadership to assist, support and influence them, whilst building and maintaining strong relationships.Prior experience across the majority of the following:Experience working on finance transformation projects in either technology implementation, target operating model, service delivery model or financial process redesign and automation.Experience leading the definition of key reporting and information model dimensions and work with business and finance stakeholders to shape how to build and improve finance processes that will assure its accuracy.Experience driving teams that deliver changes to financial data model and business adoption activities, including capability build, benefit tracking and business readiness.Experience in managing teams to reconcile complex data sets, and influencing stakeholders in the resolution of reconciliation differences and their root causes.Experience within Robotic Process Automation, Cloud based technologies and working with the Finance function would be beneficial.Experience in the Financial Services and/or Insurance industries (or equivalent).Desirable skills:Experience working with core ERP and EPM technologies such as SAP, Oracle, Workday Financials, OneStream, Anaplan, Blackline.Experience working with broader digital technologies that enhance the operations of a finance team.Understanding Finance as a function and as a consumer of data on both Management reporting and statutory level.In depth understanding of financial data, including data transformation, enrichment, and reconciliations.Finance professional qualification such as (but not limited to): ACA, ACCA, CIMA.Leading a transformation team, that has worked to develop, improve or transform finance operations.Connect to your business - ConsultingDistinctive thinking, deep expertise, and collaborative working.
