MORE INFORMATIONThe Manager role centres on project delivery with some involvement in business development as part of the practice team. A Manager will typically work on a single project at a time and will also help to develop pitches, write proposals, or with longer-range business development activity.Specifically, the Manager role involves:Leading strategy and diligence projects, from designing the approach to overseeing analysis to synthesising findingsLeading OC&C project teams (typically 3-6 people on a project), including assisting team members to develop consulting skills; i.e. helping motivated and talented individuals to progress quicklyBuilding strong working relationships with client contacts during projects, and beginning to build a personal networkSupporting sector team efforts to reinforce OC&C’s position as leaders in strategy consultancy in our chosen areasKEY RESPONSIBILITIESDirect and manage analysis and delivery of consulting projects, ensuring client satisfactionManage and motivate project teams…… and support the development and coaching of junior team membersWork effectively with clients and other advisorsTranslate strategy and business needs into actionable recommendationsDeliver against deadlinesAssist in the design and delivery of client pitches and proposalsSupport the development of IP (in the form of publications, conference presentations, etc)ABOUT THE CANDIDATEWe are seeking an individual with an outstanding track record of problem-solving, and achieving / exceeding objectives in a project-based environment, with the equivalent of four-to-five years’ experience of complex strategy consulting projects, including experience from a blue chip and / or strategy consultancy group.
