Manager, Financial Risk Advisory (US based, Remote) GTreasury has a vision to create the next-generation of technology tools for the global, corporate financial office. GTreasury is currently looking for a Manager, Financial Risk Advisory t o join the Professional Services team at GTreasury. You will be working with our senior staff, servicing our clients from the beginning of the customer journey through delivery of product and services, including consulting, software implementation, managed services and customer support. We are looking for an individual with an exceptional sense of ownership, strong organizational and project management skills, a critical thinker, and a creative problem solver who can leverage knowledge and apply it to different yet similar situations. This position will take a deep dive into risk management, hedge strategies and hedge accounting, and will develop into a subject matter expert over time. What You Will Do: Assisting clients in identifying risk exposures and designing ASC 815 and ASC 830 strategies Developing hedging policies and accounting guidelines for hedging strategies Participating in and leading software implementations and consulting engagements Providing client training with respect to hedging and system operations Supporting the sales and marketing team by assisting with client calls, presentations, demos, webinars, and content creation Delivering managed services and providing support for escalated client inquiries per support protocols Other duties as assigned Specific Experience for the Role: 5-7 years Treasury/ Accounting/ Financial Markets experience or 3-5 years Hedge Accounting specific experience. BA/BS degree required (MBA preferred) in a quantitative subject (e.g., accounting, financial engineering, operations research, math, statistics) The ability and aptitude to learn and master derivative accounting, software systems and quantitative modeling skills Solid project management skills, must have potential/be able to develop ability to lead teams Desire to dive-deep in subject matter, knowing when to consult with others, ability to reconcile system data/client data A combination of strong quantitative/analytical skills and attention to detail, strong written and verbal communications skills as well as critical thinking to research and propose innovative solutions to complex business/technical issues Assertiveness, initiative, leadership, strong work ethic, interpersonal skills with team focus. Ability to learn quickly and take on new responsibilities Experience & knowledge using Microsoft products, proficiency in MS Excel is required Knowledge of banking, accounting, and treasury systems a plus Willingness to travel (10% travel) Education Requirements: Bachelor s degree in Business preferred, or equivalent experience CPA/CFA/CTP a plus What You Will Get: A high impact, high visibility role at a growing SaaS company that values personal growth, accountability, and the concept of good work.
