Oasis Romsey Bookshop is seeking a dedicated and dynamic Manager to lead our team in Romsey, Hampshire. The ideal candidate will be passionate about books and customer service, with excellent leadership and organizational skills. Key Responsibilities:
Oversee daily operations of the bookshop Manage staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling Ensure excellent customer service and maintain high customer satisfaction Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve targets Manage inventory, including ordering and stock control Organize in-store events and promotions Handle administrative tasks, including budgeting and financial reporting
Qualifications:
Previous retail management experience, preferably in a bookshop or similar environment Strong leadership and team management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to multitask and work under pressure Proficient in using retail management software Passion for books and the literary world
