Our client is a strategic communications agency, based in the Middle East looking for an experienced Managing Director with significant experience in corporate communications and government advisory.This agency is searching for an experienced, dynamic individual who can provide world class strategic counsel and tactical advice, based on a detailed knowledge of the client, market and industry.A background in government communications is essential to the candidate succeeding in this role. As a Managing Director, the successful candidate will have significant experience as a Partner, Managing Director, Senior Director, or Director, from a global PR agency, or in-house with a multinational company, or currently working in government. If your career has been disrupted by the recent election in the UK, this role might be ideal.Experience and knowledge of the KSA market would be very useful but not essential.Guide Salary: £156K (plus generous bonus)Key ResponsibilitiesLead teams and act as a driver on all accounts, setting the standard for the team15+ years experience advising governments in communicationsConfident in providing high-calibre client counsel with team support, on brief and to budgetAn excellent writer, strong presenter and able to deliver quality work at speed under pressureMake sure that the highest level of delivery is providedMentor and teach more junior team membersFantastic media relations skills, and networkAbility to advise capably on a wide range of accounts across Corporate Communications (reputation management, crisis comms etc)Handle a wide range of contracts (business and key trade press) in media handlingEnjoy working on new business leads and take a leading responsibility in this area
