Managing Director

Our client is a venture capital backed specialist manufacturing business with a strong order book and ambitions to scale over the next few years. The business requires an operationally and commercially focussed and experienced Managing Director to join the board. Key responsibilities: Delivering the sales, profit and cash plan focussing on sales/BD growth from new customers To manage and lead the Executive team in delivering the strategy but also to implement the appropriate systems, controls, structure and reporting to be able to sustain the through to an exit eventIdentify how the business operates and how skills are best utilisedStructuring the organisation to be more effective and efficient at communicatingTransition a business information system effectively migrating the relevant parts of the current system onto an EFACS platform.Working closely with the investors planning and managing value creation.Skills and qualifications: Excellent interpersonal skills with a proven ability to communicate and negotiate effectively.Proven business management experience, including finance, people management, and operations roles in the manufacturing industry.Ability to manage people while still being an individual contributor in certain functional areas of the role.Highly motivated, committed and flexible with the ability to adapt to changing business needs.
