Salary: �75,000 - �85,000 + Package

Project: Large Scale Commercial Scheme - Earthworks / Heavy Civils

Randstad are currently working with a well established Tier 1 Civil Engineering Contractor based in the West Midlands, that are looking to grow their commercial team.

Responsibilities:

• Leading and managing the commercial aspects of the project, ensuring cost control and budget adherence
• Overseeing all commercial functions, including cost reporting, contract administration, and risk management
• Mentoring and guiding junior Quantity Surveyors within the team
• Contributing to the overall success of the project, adhering to deadlines and meeting client expectations

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Managing Quantity Surveyor with a strong track record of success on large-scale civil engineering projects
• Excellent knowledge of cost management principles and practices
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Ability to lead and motivate teams
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
