The Role: As the Managing Quantity Surveyor, you will take a leading role in overseeing the financial aspects of various projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget. You will manage a team of quantity surveyors while collaborating closely with project managers and other stakeholders to drive project success.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Lead and manage a team of quantity surveyors, providing guidance and support to ensure effective project delivery.

  • Oversee the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for ongoing projects.

  • Manage procurement processes and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.

  • Monitor project costs and performance, implementing cost control measures as necessary.

  • Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and address any financial concerns.

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices.



Requirements:




  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a strong background working for a mechanical subcontractor.

  • Previous experience in a managerial or leadership role overseeing a team.

  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills, with a keen eye for detail.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Relevant degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
