This role focuses on delivering significant projects within the Ministry of Justice and educational sectors.



The Role: As the Managing Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for overseeing a team of quantity surveyors while managing the financial aspects of high-profile projects. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.



Key Responsibilities:




  • Lead and manage a team of quantity surveyors, providing mentorship and support to ensure successful project delivery.

  • Oversee the preparation of cost estimates, budgets, and financial reports for Ministry of Justice and educational projects.

  • Manage procurement processes and negotiate contracts with subcontractors and suppliers.

  • Monitor project costs and performance, implementing effective cost control measures.

  • Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and resolve any financial concerns.

  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.



Requirements:




  • Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a strong background in managing teams and delivering projects for the Ministry of Justice and educational sectors.

  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.

  • Strong analytical and numerical abilities, with attention to detail.

  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Relevant degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying or a related field.
