Mandarin Senior Credit Risk Analyst

Ideally you will need some team management experience to lead and nurture more junior staff as well as a good knowledge of risk compliance issues. Essential Experience : Several years previous experience within Credit Risk in corporate finance

• Provide high quality credit risk assessments and recommendations for corporate clients
• Undertake credit analysis of country risks where needed.
• Provide knowledge and expertise to all Business Areas on credit related matters.
• Assist with the structuring of prospective transactions
• Provide guidance in respect of the completion of credit proposals
• Help identify all credit risks to the bank from a portfolio of clients
• Organise and attend local Credit Committee meetings
• Present credit proposals to Head Office Credit Committees.
• Minimise the time taken between problem recognition and cash recovery;
• Regularly review 'problem loans'. Escalate issues where required
• Be fully aware of the Risk Management & Compliance framework

REQUIREMENTS

• Degree educated
• 5+ years Corporate Banking credit risk background (large corporate and FI clients in UK / Western European markets)
• Fluent Mandarin and English
