Manual Grinder

Carbon60 are proud to be partnering with Lufthansa Technik Landing Gear Services to recruit for a CNC Grinder. Lufthansa Technik are a global leading provider of maintenance, repair, and overhaul services for the civil aviation industry.
This CNC Grinder position is on a permanent basis and has become available due to continued growth and expansion. In this role you will be responsible for operating all types of Grinding Machinery to produce aircraft components to precision measurements and limits.

Role Responsibilities will include:

• Operate all types of grinding machines within the workshop.
• Work from detailed technical drawings to ensure components are kept within tight tolerances.
• Use of both cylindrical and surface grinding machines.
• Complete and maintain PER book (practical experience record)

Skills and Experience required:

• Previous experience using grinding machinery is essential for this role.
• Knowledge of various grinding machines such as internal and external, cylindrical and surface.
• Ability to interpret detailed engineering drawings.
• Previous experience in the aerospace sector is beneficial but not essential.
• Ability to work on won or as part of a team.

This role is a on a double days basis, please see shifts below:

Week 1: 6am-2pm

Week 2: 2pm-10pm

Salaries are at the starting range and could increase depending on experience.
