Manual Machinist

We are looking for a Manual Machinist for a manufacturing company in Clacton on Sea. The company are a manufacturer of small components that are used within various industries.

The role on offer will be to work with a variety of toolroom machinery. You will need to have experience working on the same or a similar machinery or have worked within engineering or toolmaking.

Starting salary will be circa �16ph. Working hours will be 08:00-16:30 Monday to Thursday with a 15:30 finish on Fridays.

Duties include:

• Machining parts on mills and lathes
• Work from technical drawings
• Understanding of tool design & related software
• Sticking to strict health and safety guidelines
• Working with surface grinders
• Working on CNC machinery as needed
