Adept are excited to be partnering with a leading Oil & Gas manufacturer based in Scotland who due to rapid growth within the past year are looking to recruit a Manual Turner to join their shop floor team.
Shifts - 3 Shift Pattern :
Two Weeks Rotation of Days/Nights Shift Pattern
Day Shifts - Monday to Thursday - 6.30am to 4pm & Fridays 6.30am to 1.30pm
Night Shifts - Monday to Thursday 7.30pm to 6.30am
Duties & Responsibilities
Operate manual lathes and turning machines to produce components according to engineering drawings
Check and inspect own work
Work within tolerance
Use measuring equipment to ensure work is within tolerance
Experience Required
Proven experience as a Manual Turner or similar role in a manufacturing setting
Must have at least 2 years experience working in the Oil and Gas indutry
Must have knowledge of relevant tooling applications and machine tool capability including tool feed and speeds required to achieve efficient cycle time
