Elevation Recruitment Group are currently recruiting a Manufacturing Director to work for a market leading manufacturer in South Yorkshire.

As they expand the operation, they now require a driven and experienced Manufacturing Director to lead all manufacturing operations with a focus on continuous improvement and unparalleled customer satisfaction.
As the Manufacturing Director, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of manufacturing operations. With a turnover of 40m and c150 people on site you will lead a talented team and work closely with cross-functional departments to ensure the efficient production of their products while maintaining the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities include:
- Develop and implement manufacturing strategies that align with company goals and drive operational efficiencies.
- Lead and inspire a diverse team of manufacturing professionals.
- Oversee day-to-day manufacturing activities, ensuring adherence to production schedules, quality standards, and cost targets. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes and reduce waste.
- Champion a customer-centric culture where meeting and exceeding customer expectations is paramount. Implement measures to enhance product quality, delivery timelines, and overall customer experience.
- Collaborate closely with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality Assurance teams to resolve technical issues, streamline production processes, and introduce new products to market.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Maintain a safe working environment and promote a culture of safety among all manufacturing staff.
Elevation Recruitment Group are keen to speak with people that have the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience (5+ years) in senior manufacturing leadership role (Director or Head of) within a fast-moving manufacturing environment.
- Track record of delivering measurable improvements in manufacturing operations, such as cost reduction, quality enhancement, and throughput optimization.
- Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.
- Degree / Masters qualification desired but not essential for this role.
