The Manufacturing Engineer will play a key role in supporting the development and optimization of manufacturing processes in an engineering environment, particularly in the context of coach building or automotive applications. The role involves ensuring quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness while adhering to safety and engineering standards.
Responsibilities:
- Review and analyze engineering designs and drawings to develop efficient manufacturing methods.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve production challenges.
- Support tooling, jigging, and assembly line setup to enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in all manufacturing processes.
- Utilize CAD tools to design and implement process improvements.
- Contribute to lean manufacturing initiatives and drive continuous improvement activities.
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience in an engineering environment.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
- Experience in coach building or the automotive industry.
- Proficient in interpreting engineering drawings.
- Strong computer literacy with knowledge of Microsoft Office tools.
- Experience with AutoCAD or Pro E design software.
- Strong team player with good interpersonal skills.
- Excellent communication skills.

Education:
