Position: Manufacturing / Production Engineer

Salary: �50,000 - �60,000 depending on experience

Location: Harlow

Manufacturing Production Engineer required for a well-established manufacturer of bespoke components and solution packages for a well-established company that primarily work within security and locking products.

This is an exciting opportunity within a company that project to triple the size and turnover of the company over the next 3-5 years.

They are seeking an experienced Manufacturing Production Engineer to join the team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing new manufacturing processes and continuous improvement strategies whilst have a design appreciation of jigs and tooling fixtures.

Job Overview

  • Deliver new manufacturing requirements for NPI projects
  • Create production shop floor layouts/ new factory implementation -
  • Analysis and suggest improvements on designs on jigs, fixtures and new product improvements.
  • Generate process flow chart, PFMEA's, BOM's and production plans
  • Driving continuous improvement projects
  • Identifying areas of risk to product quality, ensuring ISO standards are reached and documented
  • Producing build schedules and production schedules
  • Liaising and chasing of suppliers
  • Assisting the in-house repair of production equipment
  • Producing technical specifications

Job Requirements

  • Experienced with 3D & 2D CAD
  • Manufacturing Processes
  • Proven background within a Process or Manufacturing Engineering role
  • Understanding of tools such as APQP, FMEA & PPAP
  • Good understanding of GD&T principles
  • Based in a commutable distance of Harlow
  • Full UK Driving License

Salary & Benefits

  • Salary �50-60K depending on experience
  • Monday to Friday, 37.5 hour working week.
  • Health insurance
  • 33 Days Holiday, including Bank Holidays
