Key Responsibilities:


  • Lead and manage the production team, ensuring operational efficiency and achievement of KPIs.
  • Oversee production scheduling, capacity planning, and resource allocation to meet customer demand.
  • Drive on-time delivery (OTIF) performance, ensuring orders are completed on schedule and within budget.
  • Implement 5S, Six Sigma, and KAIZEN methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards within an aerospace manufacturing environment.
  • Monitor and optimise productivity rates, quality control processes, and cost efficiencies.
  • Collaborate with engineering, supply chain, and quality teams to streamline production processes.
  • Lead, develop, and motivate a high-performing production team, ensuring training and progression opportunities.
  • Oversee facility maintenance and health & safety regulations.

What We're Looking For:


  • Proven experience in a Manufacturing/Production Manager role within the aerospace sector.
  • HNC/HND (or higher) in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering - an apprenticeship is a plus!
  • Strong familiarity with aerospace standards.
  • Lean manufacturing expertise, including 5S, Six Sigma, and KAIZEN methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications:


  • Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Materials Science.
