Role: Assembly Operator
Site Location: Cheltenham
Rate: �15.20 per hour days / �18.55 for Afternoons PAYE
Rotating shifts weekly 6am-2pm / 2pm-10pm
Duration: 12-month contract
Roles and Responsibilities
- Assembly following company documentation to build sub-assemblies for complex electronic units to go on aircraft.
- Tasks could include, wiring, assembling parts using screws and use of Loctite's and solvents.
- Cable form work, wiring and experience with wire crimping and wire looming an advantage.
- To manufacture a variety of sub-assemblies for high precision products using appropriate tooling and processes in accordance with the individual's scope of approval.
- To ensure that all build documentation is completed in accordance with company procedures.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities
- The candidate must have experience in a manufacturing assembly environment
- Being able to read technical drawings
