TeamJobs is looking for a Manufacturing Software Engineer to join our exclusive client in Shrewbury

Location: Shrewsbury, UK
Rate: �20.85 to �21.90 per hour (depend on experience)
Contract: 12 months (Potential for extension)
Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Flexible start and finish times)
Onsite Role: 5 days a week

What You'll Do
  • Develop and implement Power BI dashboards to enhance manufacturing efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the integration team to connect the new MRP system with Power BI.
  • Work closely with manufacturing engineers to automate reporting and eliminate manual processes.
  • Design and deploy solutions that provide real-time visibility into production, inventory, and performance data.
  • Ensure seamless data flow between EAP, QAD, and Microsoft 365 systems.
What We're Looking For

Essential Skills:

  • Power BI expertise (dashboard creation, data modeling, DAX formulas).
  • Strong team collaboration skills.
  • Ability to analyze and integrate manufacturing data from multiple sources.

Nice-to-Have Experience:

  • Hands-on knowledge of MRP, EAP, or QAD systems.
  • Manufacturing/Automotive/Engineering industry experience (e.g., engine building).
  • Software development lifecycle understanding (3+ years in system/software development).
  • Microsoft 365 proficiency (basic knowledge required).
