We currently have a fantastic role for a Manufacturing Technician for an advanced technology systems company based in Fair Oak, Eastleigh.

The Manufacturing Technician will be�working in both the workshop and office�and�is a fantastic opportunity to learn and grow within the business and will involve the following:

Main Duties:

• Setting up of and maintenance of test equipment.


• Conducting test of finished product through specialised software and documenting the results.


• PAT/FAT testing of specialised equipment.


• Product assembly.


• Basic fault finding


• Carry out equipment repairs to component level.


• SMT soldering.


• Installation and configuration of Windows.


• Using Disk imaging software.


• Network configuration of static IP addresses


• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment, documenting and escalating issues as and when necessary.


• Respond to relevant support tickets and workshop repair requests.

Required Skills & Experience:

The ideal Manufacturing Technician will have a great attitude, keen to develop their skills and have a background within manufacturing / assembly.� Any test, soldering, fault finding�experience and or�IT software experience will be an advantage however training will be provided in the majority.

Salary:

�27,000 - �30,000

Hours:

8.30�- 17.00 Monday to Friday
