Salary: £30,000 - £35,000 (+£5,000 bonus) p/a

Location: Old Woking, Surrey, UK

Working Hours: 08:30 - 17:00 (Mon-Fri) or 08:00 - 17:00 (Mon-Thur) and 08:00 - 14:30 (Friday)

Role Overview for the Manufcaturing Technician

This company are seeking an Manufacturing Technician to join their dedicated team. This is a permanent position that offers the chance to work in a dynamic environment, contributing to the production of complex electro-mechanical assemblies. The ideal candidate will have a strong engineering background, hands-on experience, and a meticulous approach to work.

Key Responsibilities for the Manufacturing Technician 

• Assemble electro-mechanical systems accurately and carefully.


• Work with design teams on new product launches, ensuring easy assembly.


• Solder components.


• Assemble and test cable assemblies and wiring looms.


• Conduct electrical tests and diagnose faults.


• Read and understand technical drawings.


• Apply Lean practices to improve manufacturing processes.

Candidate Profile for the Manufcaturing Technician

• Education: A form of qualification in some form of engineering 


• Experience: Proven track record in a similar role with hands-on experience in assembling complex systems.


• Skills: Strong organizational skills, a focus on detail, high IT proficiency, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
