About the RoleWorking 39 hours per week Monday to Friday as a Manufacturing Test Engineer, you will play a pivotal role, bringing your expertise to optimise and manage various aspects of the manufacturing processes. Your role will encompass overseeing new installations, ensuring the reliability of production systems, and validating manufacturing processes. Key ResponsibilitiesIn this role, you will:Boost Manufacturing Efficiency: Continuously seek ways to improve manufacturing efficiency and production reliability.Design and Control Tooling: Oversee the creation and maintenance of both new and existing tooling drawings to ensure precision and efficiency.Enhance Processes: Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead their implementation to enhance production quality and efficiency.Develop CNC Programs: Create and refine CAM CNC programs from 3D models for processing on multi-axis machines (3, 4, and 5 axis).Support Engineering Projects: Assist the Project Engineering team in preparing Development, Certification, and Acceptance test procedures.New Product Agree Manufacturing methods, for hardware and develop new manufacturing techniquesCreate Assembly Procedures: Develop and optimise assembly procedures to streamline manufacturing operations. What You Need to SucceedTo excel in this role, you should have:Relevant Experience: Proven experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.Comprehensive Knowledge: A deep understanding of all facets of production and process engineering.Instrumentation Expertise: Strong knowledge of instrumentation, calibration, and data logging.Test Rig Experience: Hands-on experience in the construction and operation of production acceptance test rigs.
