Manufacturing Welder

Connect Appointments are working with our market-leading client who are seeking a Manufacturing Welder based in Prestwick!

With 40 years of experience in welding and fabrication, the company are seeking Welders from a manufacturing background on an ongoing basis, with the possibility of a permanent position at the end of the assignment.

What's on offer?

• Full-time position, working 39 hours per week
• DAY OR BACK shift available
• Day shift: Monday to Friday, 7am to 3:15pm - paid at £12.10 per hour
• Back shift: Monday to Thursday, 3pm to 1:15am - paid at £16.14 per hour
• Overtime available

Working as a Manufacturing Welder, you will be responsible for working with piece parts, using jigs and bench hand work, whilst also involved in other larger fabrication.

To be successful as a Manufacturing Welder, you will be skilled in MIG Welding of metal products. Semi-skilled/self-taught Welders from a manufacturing/fabrication background will be considered.

Please Note - Successful candidates must have some pre-existing welding skills, neither Connect Appointments nor our client can train candidates with no welding experience.
