What is the opportunity? The Markets Research and Development Europe Desk (MRDDE) sits within the European Treasury Department (ETD) which is responsible for Asset & Liability Management operations and Forex business in the EMEA region. Both the sales & trading and banking activities conducted are for branches and subsidiaries across the EMEA region. MRDDE s role will assist in developing strategic and operational plans and deliver solution with respect to system and business solutions in consultation with other desks including Tokyo, New York and Singapore. Ideal candidates will be a proactive, solutions orientated, individual with a high level of attention to detail, to provide quality support to ETD and MRDDE. What will you be doing? Develop and deliver business solutions through End User Computing development for ETD and EMEA Treasury centres. Assess the existing Treasury system and make a plan for business enhancement. Support to introduce new system to Treasury and to enhance the system and related End User computing system. Assess the existing operational workflow of not only Front office but also Middle and Back office and make a concrete plan to achieve the more efficient workflow. Analyse data to enhance business strategy such as FX sales, strategy, e-FX strategy & Banking business strategy. What do you need to succeed? Required University degree or equivalent Build business relationship with senior management and those who involved in the project member. Analyse operation workflow and issues through the discussion with the ETD members and suggest the concrete solution. Have the ability to self-examine/self-investigate especially when facing technical issues which no one in ETD and MRDDE knows and get conclusion. Basic skill of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Middle to Advanced level of scripting skill SQL programming skill (any language but C#, python or both preferred) Strong understanding of (or attitude to understand) Treasury business Preferred Experience of implementing desktop application with using C# or python Experience in data analysis project in financial institutions.
