About the Role

The Advocate Group are currently supporting a well-established client within the consumer goods space.The business is at an exciting period of transformation andlooking for a dynamic, strategic thinker to drive the market strategy and planning for the business – this is a fantastic role where you can truly make an impact on the overall direction of the business’s strategy!

You will work closely with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to align business goals with actionable market insights, ensuring seamless execution and long-term success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic market plans to drive business growth.
• Analyse market trends, customer insights, and competitor activity.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Operations to align strategies.
• Support the launch of new products and ensure effective positioning in the market.
• Track and report on strategy performance, making recommendations for improvement.

Who You Are:

• Proven experience in market strategy and planning, so you could come from category, insights or strategy planning roles, ideally in the consumer goods sector.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• A results-driven, collaborative team player who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
