As we expand our reach and continue to build our team, we are looking for a passionate and experienced Marketing and Communications Manager to join us on this exciting journey.Role Overview: We are seeking a Marketing and Communications Manager who is proactive, solution-oriented, and capable of tackling challenges head-on. This role is ideal for a marketing generalist with a strong background in PR, who excels at managing diverse teams and ensuring the timely execution of marketing activities. The successful candidate will drive our marketing efforts forward, solve problems creatively, and play a crucial role in both RunThrough’s and our partner companies’ marketing success. In our fast-paced and adaptable environment, if you see a better way to do something, we want you to voice that idea and take ownership of implementing the change.Location: Hybrid (Office in Hersham, Surrey - events are nationwide)Key Responsibilities:Oversee and ensure the effective delivery of RunThrough’s marketing plans and contribute to the execution of partner marketing plans.Proactively manage day-to-day activities of the social media executive, email marketing executive, influencer lead, PR executive, and content creator.Collaborate with freelance videographers and editors on content projects, ensuring smooth workflow and high-quality output.Check, proof, and approve emails, press releases, and other marketing materials, ensuring accuracy and alignment with brand standards.Brief and provide feedback on event videos, working closely with freelancers and the internal content team.Write creative briefs for internal and freelance creatives, ensuring they understand and meet project goals.Chair weekly meetings with the marketing team to align all areas around the marketing plan and implement a system of accountability for marketing activities.Lead and support the marketing team, driving performance and ensuring timely delivery of all marketing initiatives.Manage relationships with external event stakeholders and work closely with account managers to ensure successful sponsor and partner activations.Proactively address any issues or opportunities that arise with partner companies to achieve shared marketing objectives.Oversee the customer service team to ensure high-quality responses to customer inquiries and maintain a positive customer experience.Qualifications:3-5 years of experience in a marketing role, with a specialty in PR.Proven track record of managing marketing teams and ensuring timely delivery of marketing activities.Strong experience in content creation, social media management, email marketing, and influencer marketing.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling press releases and marketing materials.Demonstrated problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to tackling challenges and finding innovative solutions.Passion for running and sports, with a genuine interest in engaging with the running community and understanding the product.Why Join Us:Be part of a growing company with a mission to inspire and engage runners worldwide.Lead a talented team and contribute to exciting marketing and communications projects.Enjoy a dynamic and supportive work environment with opportunities for professional development.Competitive salary and flexible hybrid working arrangements.Company Benefits:Free entry to RunThrough races.Free running coaching from our partner - New Levels Coaching.Free allocation of RunThrough Kit.Contribution towards non-RunThrough race entries.Regular team socials and team-building retreats.Our Values:We Create Solutions: We approach challenges with a creative mindset and are dedicated to finding effective solutions that drive success.We Are There For Each Other: We support and uplift one another, fostering a collaborative and inclusive work environment.We Build Relationships: We value and nurture strong, positive relationships with our team, stakeholders, and the running community.We Are Innovators: We embrace change and continuously seek innovative ways to enhance our marketing strategies and events.Salary: £25,000 - £35,000 (depending on experience)How to Apply:To apply, please submit your CV and a cover letter explaining to ##### on why you would be a great fit for this role.
