Marketing Assistant

The Marketing Assistant will be responsible for writing and creating content for websites and social media channels, producing images and video for PR and social media, writing content to meet the needs of customers and providing administrative support to a wider team.
This role comprises mostly of content creation, writing and distribution of internal and external communications on a day to day basis.
Duties of the Marketing Assistant:
- Identify relevant news stories and editorial opportunities, drafting and issuing high quality press releases to create positive profile for the Group
- Plan and deliver content for the organisation's social media channels and internal communications platforms
- Assist with the planning, development and delivery of communications and marketing activity and content
- Write content for the organisation's website, press and editorial activity, social media channels, printed materials and internal communications
- Develop effective relationships with key journalists and key stakeholders
- Assist with the drafting and recording of media responses/enquiries and their outcomes
- Ensure the organisations' brand guidelines are applied to all communications and marketing products
- Plan and deliver photography and video filming and editing
- Assist with the Group's social media engagement to provide customer service and administrative support, ensuring comments and messages are responded to and dealt with appropriately
- Produce creative and effective solutions to communications briefs
Requirements of the Marketing Assistant:
- Full UK drivers license (travel required on occasion - pool car available)
- Experience in a similar content creation/content writing role
- Good knowledge of: Microsoft (including Teams, Outlook, Word, XL) Using design systems such as Adobe and Canva Using media monitoring systems such as Veulio
