The Client
A highly successful Wealth Management firm, widely recognised with an excellent reputation based in London.
The Role
The successful Marketing Communications Manager will be responsible for managing the firm’s client and investment communications, internal marketing communications, client engagement strategy and development of marketing materials.
The Marketing Communications Manager will work alongside the Head of Clients Communications, developing strong working relations with the CIO, the Investment Research team, and the Senior Investment Copywriter. As well as developing good working relationships with Front Office to understand their requirements.
The Marketing Communications Manager is to lead on the secondary article of the firm’s weekly client communication, as well as contributing to ideas to implement improvement based on internal feedback.
The Marketing Communications Manager will take ownership of the firm’s content updates on their intranet platform including new page generation and suggesting ideas for improvements and enhancements to employee engagement.
The Marketing Communications Manager will work alongside Group Marketing team on various shared content opportunities as well as leading on the firm’s contribution for flash content, whilst acting as the group please for any ad hoc group projects.
The Marketing Communications Manager will lead client engagement to deliver the firms external client communications. This will also include owning the firms DDQ and RFP processes ensuring all information is up to date and accurate.
The Marketing Communications Manager will lead on the firm’s award strategy as well as liaising with the firm’s external PR agency for input on the award strategy.
The Marketing Communications Manager will develop new marketing material when required, taking ownership of copywriting, design and liaising with stakeholders. They will act as the Consumer Duty champion across all marketing activities.
The Candidate
4 years + Solid Marketing Communications experience from a Financial Services setting – ideally Wealth Management, Investment Management, Asset Management.
Good understanding of discretionary investment management and/or investment management environments would be a real advantage.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, Teams & Word.
Experience within a communications role, or a marketing role with copywriting responsibilities, with experience working with Front Office professionals an advantage.
Energetic, self-motivated and committed to meeting the needs of colleagues and clients.
Ability to plan own work and cope with periods of high workload and prioritise accordingly.
