The post holder will oversee the day-to-day marketing operation for the organisation, working closely with the Communications and Marketing Manager.The post holder will work with colleagues across all departments and the charity’s multiple locations to devise a marketing strategy and develop marketing materials, with the aim of raising awareness of the Foundation’s work and helping to grow its commercial income.Key TasksSpecific Duties will include:Develop and implement a marketing strategy and monitor its success across both traditional and social media.Refresh, plan and manage the production of marketing material across both traditional and social media.Design metrics for monitoring and evaluation of marketing activity and delivering insights from them, in addition to preparing marketing activity reports.Work with colleagues to identify the best ways to market particular events and services offered by the Foundation, including weddings and house tours at Dumfries House and other locations.Maintain strong lines of communication with events colleagues working across different sites.Producing fundraising marketing materials in line with requirements from the Fundraising team.Oversee paid-for marketing on social media channels and contribute marketing content for the social media channels.When necessary, manage relationships with marketing and branding agencies.Person SpecificationThe essential skills, knowledge and experience required are:At least four years’ experience in a marketing role for a charity or similar organisation.Proven success designing and executing marketing campaigns.Excellent organisational and project management skills and ability to meet deadlines.Capable of working well as part of a team as well as independently.Great multitasker and capable of simultaneously managing multiple projects with different deadlines.Ability to build and sustain successful working relationships with stakeholders of all levels.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.A self-starter who can bring enthusiasm and creativity to the role.Other:The post will be based at The Garrison Chapel, London or Dumfries House, Scotland with the requirement to travel on occasion.Your working hours will be full-time, 37.5 hours per weekYou must have the legal right to work in the UK.
