specifically targets visitors that will embrace the strongest and most enduring elements of the region: its art and culture, its cycling culture, Flemish gastronomy including Belgian beers, and the region’s rich history, including the heritage of the First World War. VISIT

is seeking to appoint a Marketing Executive, to help us to reach, inspire and engage with those communities in the English-speaking world who share a passion for these themes.
Responsibilities include:
Producing and delivering content aligned with our themes and storylines to support paid media marketing activities through a variety of primarily digital channels. Align with thematic partners (e.g. art galleries, WW1 associations), travel trade partners and media partners to ensure our content reaches the right audiences at the right time;
Working with colleagues from head office, other offices abroad and the London office, to produce and adapt content for multi-channel global and multi-market activities on owned media channels. Be part of a global editorial team to ensure both consistent messaging alongside respect for market and cultural differences;
Supporting the preparation and delivery of events in the UK and Ireland, ensuring alignment with the organisation’s strategy and consideration of any partners (from the UK/Ireland and/or Flanders) that may be involved;
Providing accurate and timely reporting of local marketing activities, including into internal CRM system;
Responding to consumer enquiries directed to the London office.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field
2 - 3 years of relevant experience
Useful skills/experience
Working in an international, multi-market environment and across different cultures
Knowledge and experience of the travel/tourism industry
An interest or passion in one of the themes associated with Flanders (listed above)
Experience of working in a multi-stakeholder and/or public sector environment
Other information
This is a fixed-term one year contract post (maternity cover), beginning November 2024
We operate hybrid working; typically 3 days in our attractive offices in central London, and two days working from home
Occasional travel within the UK and Ireland, and to Flanders may be required
Occasional evening/weekend working may be required
Salary: £30-£35,000 plus benefits.
