You will leverage customer and industry intel to ensure Vegetarian Express and its value proposition is effectively communicated, on brand, on time and on budget across multi-channels in line with targets.You will be responsible for defining and managing the day to day of the core marketing and customer engagement activity plan in line with business objectives.Key Job Responsibilities:Day-to-day management of core marketing activity planCore marketing budget managementAct as a lynch pin with the sales team, working closely with them to identify opportunities at a customer level and sharing customer insight with the wider team.Ensure all activity is effectively briefed, executed and measured.Ensure that the sales team are armed with an industry leading sales and marketing kitbag.Full line management responsibility for the following roles e.g. 1-2-1’s, team meetings, appraisals, absence management -Marketing Manager (responsible for delivery of the comm’s plan) -Innovation Chef team -Senior Creative lead (in-house creative and design) Set, manage and motivate the team through SMART objectivesLead relevant trade marketing activity and campaigns to support delivery of business objectives.Work closely with the Category team – to agree activation and promotional plans to market our highly differentiated range and activate new products. This includes: -end to end activation from point of launch, -core asset creation and messaging, -launch briefings, -product knowledge training for the sales team, -direct marketing plan and activation via digital channels.Ensure core business objectives such as product innovation, elevation of Vegetarian Express branded product range, and added value support and inspiration are effectively delivered across the marketing mixWork closely with the Head of Digital & E-commence to ensure the core marketing plan and content is effectively delivered via digital channels.Support the digital team to ensure appropriate content and assets are provided for them to deliver the digital and e-commerce planManage the day-to-day of existing value added tools, such as our plant-based recipe portal, Seed-bankWork with the Sustainability Manager to effectively communicate our ESG agenda and help our customers to deliver their sustainability targetsPerformance analysis of all marketing KPIs and relevant reporting and communication of results and actions to the wider Marketing & Category team, Marketing & Category Director and Sales Director and sales team where relevant.Skills and Experience Required:Graduate or graduate level by experienceCustomer and brand focused marketerResults driven, and understand the need for continuous improvementIntermediate excelStrong attention to detailVery strong communicator, tenacious yet personableExceptional project management skillsPro-active, self-starterAbility to multitask, prioritise and meet deadlinesAble to think logically, accurately and proactivelyExcellent judgment in identifying potential risks and opportunitiesAble to work at high paceStrong teamwork and collaboration skillsComfortable working with data, have good basic commercial acumen and can measure and track performance2 years-experience in a similar role, or equivalent experienceProven experience in the following:Trade marketing experience Managing complex marketing activity to tight deadlines.Line management.Results analysis and reporting.Working with a B2B sales team.Managing the marketing mix within a B2B environmentMarketing Communications.B2B customer facing experience in a marketing capacityWorking within the Foodservice sector (desirable)
