Our objective is to provide an essential business meeting place, add context to the industry’s evolution, and educate its decision-makers to help them do better business.These products and platforms are underpinned by our unique audience of senior decision-makers, sector specialists, industry-steering innovators, and ambitious sports professionals; all of whom rely upon SportsPro, through its global reach and ever-expanding network of influence, to serve them with the content and connections that matter.The RoleWe are looking for a marketing manager to join our marketing team; working closely with the Head of Marketing to drive the success of SportsPro, this is an exciting opportunity to:Lead the strategy for our events marketing, helping to set a standard of excellence and a culture of innovation. Utilise multi-channel marketing to target key attendees and drive organic conversions.Take advantage of segmentation, automation, and workflows to optimise your marketing comms.Own the delivery of the marketing strategy for our flagship events; SportsPro Madrid, SportsPro Live and SportsPro New York.Support the marketing of our membership and media products, using your expertise and creativity to proactively suggest new ideas to elevate our overall marketing plans. Work with our web development team to update and optimize the look and feel of our existing websites.Work with our digital marketing executive to introduce an SEO-mindset across the marketing team and wider business. Line management of a junior marketing executive.Harness a data-driven mindset to analyse and optimise your own activities and the team’s.Work collaboratively across the wider business, building strong relationships and sharing learnings.Become a leader within a growing business; working with autonomy and authority to move the needle. About YouThis role is perfect if you are an established marketer looking to take the next step up in your career. You will have:Prior B2B events marketing experience. Experience creating and executing marketing strategies. Strong copywriting and editing skillsStrong data reporting and analytical skills, including knowledge of GA4.A keen eye for design and branding. A creative and curious mindset, as well as a desire to challenge Self-starter approach to work, with strong attention to detail.Strong upwards communication and upwards management skills. Proven ability to use initiative when required and be a problem-solver.Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport across multiple functions.Experience with HubSpot and WordPress is beneficial.Advantageous but not required:Working knowledge of SEO and paid social channels.Experience with marketing media and/or membership products.
