Material Handler

RMS Recruitment are excited to be working in partnership with a renowned and respected automotive manufacturer and recruiting for a Material Handler to be based in Peterlee.

Job Details:

• Location: Peterlee
• Position: Material Handler
• Type: Temporary
• Shift: Monday to Friday – various 8-hour shifts
• Salary: £11.98 per hour

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough inspections of bearings for any chips, defects, or oil stains, ensuring a 100% quality check.
• Follow all Health & Safety protocols diligently.
• Use designated gloves while handling materials to prevent contamination.

About You:

• Strong organisational skills with a proactive, self-managing approach.
• Effective communicator, adaptable, and able to handle a dynamic workload.
• Minimum of two years of experience in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
