Material Planner

Premier Placement Services are currently recruiting for a Material Planner on a permanent basis for a well-established manufacturing company.

The main aim of the role is to ensure the correct and accurate supply of parts in order to satisfy production schedules.

Duties will include

• Generating schedules to meet demand


• Working with suppliers to ensure continuity of parts


• Monitoring process' to ensure smooth delivery from supplier


• Management of goods-in and ensuring stock is recorded accurately on the MRP system


• Take action to minimise risk of parts shortages and continually monitor stock levels

Requirements

Previous experience in a similar role in a manufacturing environment is necessary but equally important is a positive and enthusiastic approach and the ability to work well as part of a team.

Good Excel skills are also required, ideally alongside knowledge of MRP systems or similar.

An attractive salary is on offer negotiable dependant upon experience.
