Materials Controller

As an Operations Material Controller you will control the flow of material within the Production�environment�in a time frame�that supports the Master Production Schedule (MPS).�
Responsibilities include:

• Organising and issuing materials to the manufacturing area.
• Maintaining traceability of all materials and finished goods produced.
• Contributing to the creation and update of the Master production Schedule
• Organising the return to vendor of faulty or incorrect materials
• Working with engineers to ensure build standard integrity is maintained.
• Generating and managing works orders for new build and repair activities.
• Ensuring material is available in line with the master production schedule.
• Generation of shipping documentation
• Booking of UK and export shipments via freight forwarders/couriers
• Organising the processing of customer repairs
• Monitoring of shelf life product
• Control and reporting of Government furnished assets
• Liaising with external suppliers and customers
• Management inventory
• SAP system issue resolution
• No Experience is required as we have a robust training�and development package�which will take you through all aspects of the Material Management process and�delivers�what is expected�from you�at each stage. We require someone who is an organised logical thinker, numerate, willing to learn and a proactive self-starter.
