Permanent Warehouse Operative

Leeds – Minimum 35 hours a week

Warehouse operatives required who can operate a fork lift truck to join a major Freight company as a Materials Controller.  With a final salary pension scheme, retails discounts, car maintenance schemes, gym membership discounts and many more benefits, our client wants to provide an environment of stability, long term prospects and a sense that their employees are being looked after.

Location: Leeds

Role and Responsibilities:


  • Operate an FLT 
  • Process all goods inwards and outwards both manual handling of goods and updating
  • Maintain material logs, system updates and documentation, providing quality and accurate information
  • Participate in periodical stocktaking of materials & support the Stores and Logistics team with stock levels managing materials transactions, material planning and any other project activities 
  • Liaise with suppliers

Essentials


  • Computer Literate (strong IT skills are a must)
  • Versatile
  • Adaptable
  • Previous experience in a similar role

Desirable


  • Experience of SAP systems and Microsoft Excel

Shift Pattern/ Hours

Currently working

7am to 7pm for two days the 10am to 10pm for two shifts then 4 days off

This might change to 7am to 7pm days

Working an average 35 hours a wee

Other information: A pre-employment Drugs & Alcohol test and Medical must be passed prior to start.
