Production Administrator & Planner
Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum plus bonus
Schedule: Monday to Friday, with a 1pm finish on Fridays
Location: Office-based must have SAP and excel experience as well as having worked within a planner role withiin manufacturing previously
About the Role:
Acorn by Synergie is seeking an experienced Production Administrator & Planner to join their client's team. You will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of production operations. This role requires experience in manufacturing planning, particularly in reviewing and managing work orders. Proficiency in SAP and Power BI is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
Manually release and adjust expedited production orders outside the ERP process.
Monitor production progress, addressing delays and adjusting priorities as necessary.
Plan and level capacity, prioritising operations for optimal performance.
Collaborate with production to assess manpower, equipment, and raw material needs.
Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements.
Coordinate production workflows for multiple products.
Enter sales orders and run ERP systems to generate daily manufacturing orders.
Compile manufacturing order documentation, including printing drawings, inspection plans, and data sheets.
Perform general data entry, administrative tasks, and handle emails.
Provide regular updates on any anticipated order delays to external TSS colleagues.
Prepare and submit performance reports and organise related paperwork.
Collaborate closely with quality control, warehouse staff, and other departments to address production bottlenecks and maintain smooth operations.
Required Skills and Experience:
Proven experience in planning or scheduling within a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of production planning and data analysis.
Proficient in SAP, with the ability to extract and report crucial information.
Familiar with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Power BI.
Ability to interpret technical drawings.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to manage complex planning, balancing multiple constraints and stakeholders.
Self-motivated with exceptional organisational, time-management, and teamwork skills.

Key Stakeholders:
External TSS, including Customer Solution Centres (CSC), Supply Chain Management (SCM), and Product Engineering.
Internal teams such as Quality, Purchasing, Dispatch, Finance, and SAP consultants.
