We are looking for a Materials Agent with experience within purchasing/materials roles previously to work within a world leading airline organisation. You will be responsible for managing the purchasing order book ensuring timely deliveries to meet deadlines and co-inside with production schedules. You will be dealing with suppliers, vendors and shipping companies ensuring materials arrive on time and payments are completed. Day to day contact with internal workshops (managing repair delay) and external suppliers, building a relationship with key suppliers to facilitate performance improvements.
This position may require working shifts due to certain suppliers and vendors being overseas and having to contact them during their opening hours.
