Are you a passionate and enthusiastic Maths teacher looking to inspire and engage students?

We are currently looking for committed teachers in Preston to inspire and support our KS3 and KS4 students. The daily pay rate for this role ranges from £155 to £230, depending on your experience, qualifications, and teaching proficiency.

The selected candidates will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality education, fostering a love for the subject, and helping students achieve their full potential. You will foster a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for mathematics.

Responsibilities:


  • Creating a positive learning environment through professionally planned lessons and classroom displays
  • Using imagination and innovation to enhance the learning experience in children
  • Having control over the whole class and maintaining discipline
  • Adhering to the curriculum, including up to date changes in the structure
  • Use assessment data to inform lesson planning
  • Set homework and mark promptly
  • Ensure a high quality of teaching and learning takes place
  • Deal with immediate problems/emergencies according to school policy and procedures
  • Strong knowledge of the curriculum
  • Punctual and reliable

  • Managing behaviour of pupils whilst undertaking work to ensure a constructive environment
  • Strong classroom management
  • Motivated and enthusiastic demeanour
  • Use imagination and innovation to enhance learning experience

Personal Attributes:


  • You will have a genuine passion for teaching
  • Experience up to key stage 3/4
  • QTS/PGCE equivalent
  • Be flexible and committed


Please note that this role is unable to offer any Sponsorship at this time.
