A dedicated and passionate Maths Teacher is required to work at a Special secondary school on the outskirts of Hereford, to join them on a full time basis from September, teaching key stage 3 & 4 classes, on an ongoing basis, likely to be for the full academic year.
This position is five days a week, full time, and is open to ECTs as well as experienced teachers.
You will be required to become fully involved within the department & school, like a permanent member of staff, and attend departmental meetings when required, and be available for parents' evenings as well as planning and delivering captivating, high standard lessons that will stretch the pupils in their learning. This school teachers Edexcel at GCSE and has a key focus on problem solving and reasoning skills throughout KS3 and KS4. You will also be required to mark the work and provide feedback along the way.
