Are you a passionate and dedicated Maths teacher with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)? Are you experienced in working with Key Stage 3 and 4 students? We have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Maths Teacher to join a vibrant secondary school in Derby, starting in September.
Key Responsibilities:
Teaching Maths to Key Stage 3 and 4 students
Full responsibility for planning lessons, preparing resources, and marking students' work
Managing a full-sized class, maintaining a positive learning environment
Managing classroom behavior, including addressing challenging behavior effectively
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential - applicants without QTS will not be considered
Experience teaching Maths at the secondary level, with a strong understanding of the curriculum for Key Stages 3 and 4
Proven ability to manage a classroom and handle challenging behavior with confidence and professionalism
Strong organizational and communication skills
