The Role

As a Teacher of Mathematics, you will play a pivotal role in delivering engaging and effective maths lessons to students across the secondary school levels. You will inspire a love for mathematics, promote critical thinking, and contribute to the broader success of the department and the school. Key responsibilities include:

• Planning, Preparing, and Delivering high-quality and differentiated mathematics lessons.
• Creating a Positive Classroom Environment that encourages active participation and fosters achievement.
• Assessing and Providing Feedback to support student progress and address individual learning needs.
• Collaborating with Colleagues to develop the mathematics curriculum and share best practices.
• Participating in School Life, including attending school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development activities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics or a closely related field.
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification, with proven experience teaching at the secondary level.
• Familiarity with the UK National Curriculum and examination board requirements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for student success and collaboration.
