We are seeking a dedicated Maths Teacher to join a fantastic secondary school in Harrogate on a part-time basis for 3 days. This role is to cover a maternity leave, starting in January 2025 and continuing until May 2025.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or PGCE in a relevant subject.
• Proven experience teaching Maths at secondary level.
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.
• A valid Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
• Passion for education and a commitment to student success.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons to KS3 and KS4 students.
• Monitor student progress, provide constructive feedback, and implement interventions where needed.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the continuity of the Maths curriculum.
• Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and assessments.
