Maths Teacher

Duties as a Maths Teacher:

• Plan and teach engaging maths lessons that are creative, challenging, and interactive.

• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students, from those struggling with basic concepts to those seeking enrichment.
\n
• Regularly assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and identify areas for improvement.
\n
• Foster a classroom atmosphere that is both motivating and respectful, where students feel confident to ask questions and take risks.
\n
• Work with other teachers and staff to develop cross-curricular projects and ensure a holistic approach to education.
\n
• Help students understand how maths is relevant in the real world, inspiring a love of the subject that lasts beyond the classroom.

What you require as a Maths Teacher:

• A degree in Mathematics or a related field, along with a recognised teaching qualification (QTS).
\n
• A genuine enthusiasm for teaching mathematics and helping students develop a love for the subject.
\n
• Ability to explain complex mathematical concepts in a simple and engaging way.
\n
• Creative and adaptable teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
\n
• Previous teaching experience for KS3 and 4 is ideal but not essential if you are a passionate, newly qualified teacher ready to make an impact.

• Must be willing to undergo a current DBS check (if not already completed).
